Bureau Europa werd in 2006 opgericht als NAi Maastricht, een dependance van het voormalige Nederlands Architectuurinstituut (NAi) in Rotterdam. Sinds 2013 opereert de organisatie onafhankelijk als Bureau Europa, platform voor architectuur en design.
